Blog 1: Hello OhYeahIRide!!

Let me take a brief moment to introduce myself. I am "Mac" and I am a ride-aholic. I started my riding adventures in March 2008. I attended a garage party at the local Harley Davidson dealership and was sold from that night forward. That evening I signed up for a Riders Edge course and was purchasing my "baby" the following week. My 2008 Street Bob was ordered, customized and finished for delivery in early March. From delivery date to now I haven't stopped riding.

So, why do I ride? For starters the euphoria that comes from the open road and the wind in your face is indescribable. The looks I get when folks see I'm a girl are priceless. The comradory amongst the riding family is powerful. The ability to be "one" with 684 pounds of steel roaring between your legs is amazing. And most importantly, there's nothing a ride can't and won't cure.

Through our journeys together I will share the good, bad and ugly experiences I have faced in the past year and a half of riding. Some of my experiences will astonish you, many will make you laugh (and laugh hysterically), some might even make you ask "what the", but all will bring a smile to your face in some way.
