Chrome Angels

I am a member of Chrome Angels. A group of women riders who give back to the community and share a passion for being in the wind.
Recently we had a member hit by a drunk driver coming back from a 3 day ride to Arkansas. She is doing as well as she can but recently found out that her bike will probably be totaled. Over $10,000 worh of damages so far and there not done yet.
We recently had a garage sale in her honor and the responce from donations and money that was rasied was amazing. Chrome Angels have gotten together with another group, Cowtown, for a fundraiser/ benifit ride in her name as well. Medical bills are coming in and the relization of how serious it was has taken it's toll on her.
The thing I fear most is she feels like she lost her best friend, even if it was a mere machine. Hopefully she will be back in the wind with us soon so we can all see that smile and that big heart we have all grown to love.

Hey Gypsy, What a great testament to the dedication of the Chrome Angels. You're right...it's a great group of ladies in North Central Texas! (Did you see that we posted a link to the article about the guy who hit Kim in the safety forum??) Take care...see you soon! Dawn
